How We Help
Focused programs providing direct support to families navigating pediatric cancer treatment, plus a research award honoring Sophie's passion for science.
When a child is hospitalized, the last thing a parent should worry about is how to afford groceries or gas. Our Sustenance for Families program provides grocery and gas gift cards to families of children in cancer treatment, helping ease the financial burden during their most challenging days.

The Sophie Malaviya Memorial Scholarship honors Sophie's legacy by providing tuition support to students who have battled pediatric cancer. We believe that every child who fights cancer deserves the chance to pursue their educational dreams and build the future they fought so hard to reach.

When a child is hospitalized far from home, being surrounded by loved ones can make all the difference in their recovery and emotional well-being. Our Travel Assistance Program helps cover travel costs so families can be together during hospital stays, because no child should face their battle alone.

Silken Twine’s Cancer Research Award supports the next generation of pediatric cancer researchers. Each year, we offer a travel award to a cancer research scientist or trainee to attend the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting, advancing the science that gives families hope.
